I’m working at a small desk in my kitchen. One day, that will morph into the office decor of my dreams.
Whether I work from home, or I work from a corporate location, I want a professional space that I can call my own. Even in school, I made sure that my locker was my personal, blinged out space! I hung a key chain with a disco ball on it. I placed a Yankee Candle car freshener in it so it would always smell like apples. I printed out a collage of all my celebrity crushes and placed them all over all the walls and door!
As a result, to pay homage to my childhood workspaces (though yes, a locker isn’t exactly a workspace and more of a storage space during work hours), I would like to share the office decor that I would like in my own space one day.
When I reflect, I know that I want an office space that is bright and full of natural light! However, I also like neon signs! I want something fun and happy, but sharp and clean. My space should give high energy, filled with potential and endless possibilities.

As you can see, I like a lot of color! Pink and green is a common color combo. EMerald green is one of my favorite colors, but I worry it might darken an otherwise light work space! I’ll see you back here in five years. Maybe that neon sign will be right behind my massive but stylish desk!
