As things outside take a turn for the chilly and chills, it’s time for a fall playlist!
Pumpkins adorn the porches of my neighborhood. Halloween candy bags sell at the front of the grocery store. Thanksgiving meal orders and alcohol recommendations grace my family group chats. In short, autumn has truly arrived!
I think any music enthusiast will tell you that each season has a certain sound. For instance, winter sounds cold and sad. In addition, spring sounds light and hopeful. Finally, summer… dances! I find that a good fall playlist feels warm, if a bit melancholy. Together, the melding of coziness and the increasing earlier nights find their balance. A quality fall playlist has acoustic guitar, some jazz, and piano tunes. However, I realize that many may not fully grasp the true SOUND of Autumn. Sure, you know it when you hear it, but let the eyes do the work for once! So grab a book, a cozy blanket, and a pumpkin spiced latte (or, if you’re a person of taste, a hot chocolate). The perfect fall playlist awaits.
