My laptop battery is about to die. In a crunch time of fifteen minutes, here’s some rapid fire remedies!

Aaron had a difficult day today. He’s been struggling with shoulder and wrist pain, and went through several agonizing procedures today for doctors to get a closer look at a potential diagnosis. I’ve sat by him in bed practically since he came home, browsing on my computer… and not writing.

My time has caught up with me, and my laptop has less than thirty percent battery left. In essence, I have maybe 10 percent battery left to actually write something tangible.

I’ve been feeling like I’ve been BS’ing my way through the year. Nothing’s getting done, and I need to see some progress, sooner rather than later.

As a result, I’m going to name the issues I have, and how I’m going to resolve the matter. No hardcore thinking or reflection required!

RAPID FIRE REMEDIES

I haven’t lost enough weight this year. Eat to fuel and listen to my hunger cues. Nothing else.

My reading list for the year has no dents. Wake up earlier to work out, and read for the forty five minutes before work starts. Listen to Audible while walking in the morning.

I haven’t worked on my foreign language goals at all. Watch “Elite,” “Narcos,” and “Coda.” As well, watch the two “polyglot” videos in my “Watch Later” playlist.

I have been working on a treatment for three months, not a script. Finish treatment this weekend, then take a break to write a different treatment (possibly a “Black Mirror” episode) between “Escapril” project. Write script from May – June.

I have only watched eight movies this year from my anthology, not twelve. Roll over what movies don’t make it into the next two days into April. I managed to watch two movies NOT on my list, and thoroughly enjoyed both. As long as I’m seeing movies that I like, and not watching the same ones over and over again, it’s all good.

Boom! Five problems! Kablam! Five rapid fire remedies. Don’t think, just answer. Works ninety percent of the time, every time.
